The expectations of Chaplains are to serve the emotional needs of others. Some chaplains perform wedding or funeral ceremonies, deliver spiritual messages, offer prayer at public meetings, and provide daily counseling. Other chaplains meet the need of the moment, usually through listening and prayer.
Rhema University’s Chaplaincy Training Program is designed to train you for specific situations and environments for an area of that is in much demand. You will have the professional ability required in meeting the demands for this type of protocol; whether your placement is in hospitals, hospice, military, prisons or a variety of other placements.

Rhema University offers a comprehensive correspondence program which gives you the flexibility to work at your own pace. The RU Chaplaincy Program consists of three sections essential to effective chaplaincy training – Pastoral Care, Counseling and Crisis Management. You will be given up to 60 days to complete the course.
Obtaining RU’s professional training gives you the ability to assist others dealing with crisis situations. Upon completion, you will be certified and licensed through Rhema University. You will receive your RU Chaplaincy Certificate and license to signify your credentials within 10 business days after successfully completing the program.

Chaplaincy Tuition
There is a $50.00 application/registration fee. The cost of tuition for the program is $2000 which doesn’t includes your books, Chaplaincy License and Certificate of Completion.
The shield and leather wallet are offered as a separate item. Your Chaplaincy License and shield fit perfectly in the wallet and the shield has your personal ID number and Rhema University Chaplaincy Association engraved. Upon completion of your program,you can order this professional item separately for only $99.99.
Chaplaincy License Renewal
There is a yearly chaplaincy license renewal fee of $100 paid in the beginning of each calendar year on the first day of January or at mid-year on the first day of June, dependents on which date comes later after completing your Chaplaincy Program. You will be sent a new license as your license will expire on the date which applies to you (January 1st or June 1st).
